Apr. 5 - WorldCatch News Network - John Cummings, former president of failed online seafood venture GoFish.com, will take over as president and chief operating officer of American Seafoods International LLC, headquartered in New Bedford, on Monday, April 8.

Cummings was president of Danvers, Mass.-based Fishery Products International Inc. prior to his stint at the Portland, Maine-based dot-com.

The new hire precedes several changes to the company’s operations and management team expected in the next few months, Jeff Davis, chief executive officer of American Seafoods, told WorldCatch News Network on Friday.
