Marine Harvest's new multi-million pound salmon processing plant in Rosyth, United Kingdom, took a major step forward last week with the production of its first pack of the company’s Harbour Salmon Co. product.
The plant had been carrying out primary processing in the run-up to the busy Christmas period.
Production of the Harbour Salmon Co. product marks a significant milestone for the new plant, said Andy Stapley, managing director of Marine Harvest VAP UK.
“We’ve been hard at work equipping the factory and recruiting staff and we’re delighted to be producing our first finished product.
