NAS Director, Jorgen Lund told IntraFish a large delegation from French firm BGV Shipping Service will attend the conference to unveil the ferry.
In November last year BGV and Chikara Shipping Ltd. signed an agreement for the construction and operation of the first five vessels, with the first planned for completion next fall. The first ferry will shuttle between Drammen, Norway and Boulogne, France.
“This is a great occasion that will change much of the freighting pattern, not least for fish in Europe,” Lund said.
