The shrimp -- 1,600 cases of 31-40-count cooked shrimp under Mazzetta Company's Seamazz brand -- was taken Sunday when the truck was in Rahway, N.J.
The truck was found Monday in Brooklyn, N.Y., and Mazzetta told IntraFish on Friday there are reports of the shrimp being sold in Brooklyn and Queens at below-market prices.
"We have heard there are offers being made on this shrimp," the company said. "And, yes, it is being offered at below-market costs."
The product was packed in 21-pound green and white cases.
