Police have concluded faulty cables are the reason for a fire which occurred at a salmon farm in Gulen county, Norway, in April, during which 119,000 salmon escaped.
Roar Brudevoll, police superintendent of Gulen, Masfjorden and Solund Police District said police are still waiting on technical analysis of material linked to live cables, before the reason for fire can be ascertained.
“Usually this takes a few months before we get a reply, but the chief theory is that the cause is of an electrical nature.
