UK smoked salmon supplier Farne Salmon and Trout Limited posted an operating profit for its fiscal year through June 2014 of £2.5 million (€3.4 million/$3.7 million), up 74 percent from the year before, according to newly released statistics.
Revenues reached £73.4 million (€100.6 million/$108.6 million), up 12 percent from £64.4 million (€88.2 million/$95.3 million) for the same period the previous year.
Profit after tax came to £1.6 million (€2.2 million/$2.4 million), a huge jupm from the £102,000 (€139,740/$150,960) the company posted the year prior.
