After experiencing pressure on prices over the last weeks, prices are expected to remain stable for deliveries this week at around NOK 35 (€4.30/$5.80) – NOK 36 (€4.40/$6) per kg (back-to-farm).
Salmon prices are set to remain stable next week as well, following a few weeks of downward pressure, according to the latest update from Kolbjorn Giskeodegaard, senior analyst at Nordea markets.
Meanwhile, the forward curve at Fish Pool, the brokerage which trades salmon futures, for the second half of the year has increased “remarkably,” said Giskeodegaard.
