Expectations about a coming upswing in salmon prices is pushing up the spot price, industry players told IntraFish.
IntraFish talked with six different players Friday, all of whom reported an increase in price from last Friday.
People operating in the industry told IntraFish average prices were:
- Size 2-3 kg - NOK 39 (€4.60/$5.80) – NOK 40 (€4.80/$5.90)
- Size 3-4 kg – NOK 42 (€5/$6.20) – NOK 43 (€5.10/$6.30)
- Size 4-5 kg - NOK 42 (€5/$6.20) – NOK 43 (€5.10/$6.30)
- Size 5-6 kg - NOK 42 (€5/$6.20)
