Global fish prices rose to a record in May, boosted by increasing demand for salmon and falling supplies, according to the UN’s Food & Agriculture Organization (FAO).
An index of fish prices tracked by the Rome-based FAO rose 6.3 percent between April and May and was up 16 percent from a year ago, according to the FAO’s biannual Food Outlook report.
