About 4,000 people are expected to attend the first international Expoalimentaria show, which runs Sept. 9-11 and brings together different sectors of Peru’s food industry, including fisheries and aquaculture.

The show, which will also include a series of conferences, including one on aquaculture, aims to bring together producers, importers and buyers worldwide. Among those attending are companies that manufacture seafood products such as pota, mackerel, anchovies, and jack mackerel.

The show is taking place thanks to the Association of Exporters (ADEX), the ministry of agriculture (MINAG), Peru’s export and tourism promotion office (PROMPERU), and associations of the Pacific. It's
