When IntraFish published its first newsletter in 1997, one of our readers claimed the industry didn’t produce enough news to justify two issues a week.

Immediately after this comment, we stepped up issue frequency to three times a week, due to competition from other media.

Then, seeing as our competitors followed suit, we increased to four issues a week. In fact it turned out that so much was happening in the industry that there was no end to the flow of news, in other words, one news item generated another.
