”The prospects are looking good,” producer Arne Kristiansen of Langfjordlaks in Alta told IntraFish. "At the moment I’m selling at NOK 32 ($4.86/€4.00) per kilo for export next week, particularly salmon in the three- and six-kilo size group are most popular just now. Prices for the other sizes are following hot on their heels."
Kristiansen is pleased he can offer the market the sizes that are most in demand. “I have what I would call normal biomass for this time of the year in the sea cages,” he said.
