EU, North Sea and Norwegian fishermen have agreed to work more closely together on the long-term management of North Sea stocks managed jointly by the European Union and Norway.
The move follows a recent initiative by the Demersal Working Group of the North Sea RAC (NSRAC) to visit Trondheim, Nowray to meet a delegation from the Norwegian Fishermen’s Association (Norges Fiskarlag). The meeting was aimed at laying out foundations for future cooperation on the development of common long-term management plans for shared stocks.
