According to the board of director’s financial report, Norwegian salmon supplier Erko Seafood sold 10,200 metric tons of salmon in 2012, compared with 8,600 metric tons the previous year, but salmon prices in 2012 dragged on earnings.
The the company anticipates volume will increase to 10,400 metric tons of gutted salmon, and with the salmon prices over the last year, it's likely the group's results will show a significant upturn in 2013.
