FishPartners, a subsidiary of Dutch giant Kennemervis, is aiming to match a target set by the country’s retailers that all fish sold in their stores will be certified as sustainable by the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) or an equivalent aquaculture label within the next two years.
The company is a processor and supplier to fish shops and fishmongers across the Netherlands, and celebrated its first birthday in November as a combined company, following the merger of three Dutch businesses -- Gravis, Gebr Muys and Eldoro -- in 2008.
