Officials for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) aren't ready to start calling pollock cod just yet, despite a new study from scientists at the American Fisheries Society that determined the evolutionary relationships of walleye pollock, better known as Alaska pollock, line up with cod.
