The breeding technology firm had to face its accounting year 2008/2009 with gloomy figures. Turnover ended up at NOK 183.4 million (€21.5 million/$32.1 million). Earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) were a loss of NOK 41.4 million (€4.8 million/$7.2 million), while the result before tax was a loss of NOK 44.3 million (€5.2 million/$7.7 million).
That Aqua Gen felt the pinch through Chile encountering huge problems came as no surprise, but disease problems last year made matters even worse.
