Scottish fishermen can only follow the “spirit of the deal” at present because of a lack of translated copies of the regulations, said Mike Park, executive chairman of the Scottish White Fish Producers Association.

Norway has started to lay down the law as regards the output of the Norwegian agreement of last year, Park told IntraFish publication Fishing News.

“The problem for us is that we do not have a set of the new Norwegian regulations, which have got to come from Norway to the EU for translation,” he said.
