Hartwig Retzlaff has been appointed to the management of Bremerhaven-based fish and seafood distributor Deutsche See. As new CEO, he will be responsible for purchasing and distribution, the company said in a press release.
At the same time, Peter Dill, long-standing CEO of the company, is resigning from some of his operational responsibilities and the CEO position.
Dill is appointed "chief representative" of Deutsche See and will continue to focus on quality management, as well as his position as chairman of the Federation of the German Fisheries Industry (Bundesverband der Fischindustrie).
