Overall shrimp landings in the Gulf of Mexico were below historical averages in January and February, but it's the market and pricing that has industry experts concerned.
According to recently released statistics from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), the total Gulf landings were the lowest since 2008.
