Orlando-based Darden Restaurants announced Thursday that it has purchased Yard House USA, operator of 39-unit casual-dining chain Yard House for $585 million (€479 million), reported Nation's Restaurant News.
Southern California-based Yard House, which operates in 13 states and has an extensive seafood selection including swordfish, clams, ahi tuna and shrimp, will join Darden's already bustling restaurant group, which includes Red Lobster, The Capital Grille, Bahama Breeze and Olive Garden.
