The newest concept from Darden Restaurants Inc. features fire-grilled entrees such as salmon topped with tropical salsa, grilled tenderloin filet with a portobello wine sauce, and cocktails made with all-fresh ingredients, Nation's Restaurant News reported. The restaurant’s Web site proclaims “fresh, bold flavors in a log home getaway.”

"Rocky River Grillhouse is one of a few ideas we are looking at in regions of the country where Smokey Bones underperforms compared to our top-performing restaurants," spokesman Joe Chabus told IntraFish.

The potential prototype is the only Rocky River Grillhouse currently operated by Florida-based Darden, whose holdings also include Olive Garden, Bahama Breeze, Smokey Bones and Seasons 52.
