In January, CP Prima signed a standstill agreement with noteholders that expired at the end of June. The current talks are aimed at extending that agreement.
“The company is in ongoing discussions with local lenders to obtain additional capital to support its operations and revitalization, but has not yet secured any commitments from these lenders,” the company said in a statement issued on the Indonesia Stock Exchange.
As part of its disclosure to the exchange, the company made public financial estimates it provided to the lenders in March.
