A California resident Monica Sud responded to a court filing by Costco last week and on Monday, the defendants shot right back.
Sud filed a class action lawsuit against Costco in August seeking injunctive relief to prevent the defendants from allegedly importing and selling Thai frozen farmed prawns in California while the supply chain is tainted by human rights abuses.
Along with other defendants -- Maryland-based US prawn distributor CP Food Products Inc., and its Thai-based parent company Charoen Pokphand Foods Public Company Ltd.,
