Cooke Aquaculture was one of five companies honored at the 2016 Export Awards Gala on Thursday.

A judging panel made up of business experts from academia and the private sector selected the winners and Opportunities NB, ACOA and the Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters, New Brunswick division hosted the awards celebration.

Here are the winners and their corresponding categories:

Exporter of the Year – Cooke Aquaculture
Emerging Exporter of the Year – Leading Edge Geomatics
Global Diversification – Approach Navigation Systems
Innovative Exporter of the Year – Corey Nutrition Co.
