Many products on display at the show touted convenience. Single wrappers, pre-cut, and easy-to-use were words heard often at the show, which ended Tuesday in Chicago.
At the Mazzeta Company booth, Stephen Felsenthal said they’re getting a lot of questions about Chilean salmon (pictured), which is marinated with lemon, basil, pepper, olive oil or teriyaki before it’s flash-frozen in single servings.
“This is a brand new hot product,” Felsenthal told IntraFish. “The marinade has already soaked in, it just needs to thaw.”
