Eastern Quebec Seafood still is offering a CAD $25,000 ($23,684/€19,413) reward for information that leads to an arrest or recovery of the stolen shrimp, Jules Pepin, the company's market development manager, told IntraFish on Tuesday.
The company had no insurance, so it will lose the cost of the shrimp, which Pepin did not state, although he said if it had been sold it would have been worth "several hundred thousand dollars."
The stolen shipment consisted of 38 pallets of 70 bulk packed in 30-pound cases.
