The chilled and frozen meals maker has long supplied U.K. retailer M&S, but says it wishes to expand its dealings with other retailers, including Tesco, Morrisons and ASDA.
The company wants to "use our innovation and development expertise to grow our business with other U.K. retailers," it told IntraFish during a presentation at its site in Grimsby, U.K.
Between 60 percent and 70 percent of revenue comes from M&S, which currently has 14.3 percent market share in the chilled fish sector. Coldwater says it believes a broader range of innovative products across multiple retailers is required to grow further its share.
