The sale was completed June 16, Mark Littlewood, operations manager for Santa Barbara Smokehouse, told IntraFish on Monday.

Stonington now will be known as Smokehouse at Stonington Maine, Littlewood said, and would continue to produce its line of cold-smoked salmon and other value-added products.

“We produce a high-quality cold-smoked salmon, and Stonington also does cold-smoked salmon and other value-added products such as smoked mussels, smoked prawns, smoked haddie, smoked mackerel, trout,” said Littlewood.

“We’re really bringing together the strengths of our company and bringing on board Stonington, which has all these other product lines.”
