The healthy outlook for cod stocks for the next year raises the question of where all the additional fish will go, after talk of "too much cod" on the global market caused concerns this year.
Retail sales for fresh cod have gone up in markets such as France and the United Kingdom over the past few months -- a result of lower prices and consequently increased promotional activities at retailers.
However, there is a limit to how much fresh fish can be put into the market, one Norwegian supplier told IntraFish.
