China shrimp giant expands on two fronts

China-based shrimp and tilapia supplier Zhanjiang Guolian Aquatic Products, which purchased California distributor and wholesaler Sunnyvale Seafood Feb. 1, is also working hard to enhance its presence in its native China.

The company is putting the final touches on a 100 square acre facility in Zhanjiang, located in Guangdong province, which will open in June.
