UK retailers saw the value of cod sales reach £354.2 million (€488.8 million/$520.7 million) for the year ended Jan. 31 2015, an increase of 2 percent from £347.2 million (€479.1 million/$510.4 million) recorded the same period year before.
In terms of volume sold, cod reached 43,024 metric tons, a slight increase of 0.7 percent from the previous year which saw 42,716 metric tons sold.
