The different unions making up the National Confederation of Salmon Industry Workers (CONATRASAL) held an extended meeting on the issue Nov. 5.
CONATRASAL President Javier Ugarte said the first meeting to establish the intersectorial roundtable, which was scheduled for Nov. 6, has been postponed to Tuesday, Nov. 11 and the labor and economy undersecretaries will attend, among others.
“The aim is for us to sit down and talk but here in the region,” Ugarte said.
