Hatchery Manager Daniel Elton told IntraFish ACUINOR has five-gram juveniles that are six centimeters long after four years of work, which included securing permits, sea concessions, catching broodstock, constructing a hatchery, spawning and larvae farming.
Total investment is $5.3 million (€4.2 million), he said.
ACUINOR is one of the first companies in the world to obtain juveniles of this species (Seriola lalandi), said Elton.
