Chilean salmon prices are up across the board in week 9, albeit only slightly, according to the latest figures from SalmonEx.
Prices heading into the United States crawled up just one cent with average prices for D Trim Atlantic salmon at wholesale reaching $4.05 (€3.70) per pound.
In Brazil though, prices for head-on Atlantic salmon from Chile, size 10-12, at wholesale jumped up 12 cents to reach $5.08 (€4.60) per kilo.
In Japan, average prices for frozen headed and gutted (H&G) coho, sizes 4-6, also went up JPY 5 (€0.04/$0.04)
