Geir Molvik has played a key role in Norwegian marine farming industry for close to 30 years. This summer he was appointed to the top position in Cermaq, after having been a member of the group’s executive management for six years.

Cermaq CEO Geir Molvik is just two months into his new job, but this long-time Cermaq executive doesn’t need on-the-job training – his intimate knowledge of the organization has made the transition from Jon Hindar a smooth one.

Japanese giant Mitsubishi acquired Cermaq in the fall of 2014, which until then was a public company partly owned by the Norwegian government.
