Canadian seafood provider Toppits Foods appointed John Mauro as its new president and CEO, and Heather Gremont as the chair of the board of directors, the company said Tuesday.
Mauro previously was the vice president of sales for the Ontario-based company, and has nearly two dozen years of experience in the Canadian food industry.
Gremont is the former president and CEO of the company and grown the company in the past 39 years to a multi-million dollar enterprise.
“As Toppits opens this new chapter in our long history, I am confident that John will continue to evolve this company in the right direction," Gremont said in a statement.
