In the debate whether land-based salmon farms can be economically viable, members of the Canadian-based 'Namgis First Nation project aren't just determined to prove they can, but also show how land-based farms can eliminate aquaculture's environmental impacts.
Officials in charge of the Namgis project tell IntraFish sister publication Fish Farming International their design actually improves the surrounding area.
