The catfish growers in America, unable to compete with the onslaught of Vietnamese catfish coming into the United States, have managed to convince the U.S. Department of Commerce to levy a heavy-handed antidumping duty on shipments of pangasius products from Vietnam for the one-year period ended July 31, 2009.
