Prices for Atlantic cod continued to rise in the past few months, with industry players telling IntraFish they jumped at least 20 to 25 percent since the beginning of the year.
With the recently announced 10-percent quota cut to 894,000 metric tons in the 2015 Barent Sea, another 5-10 percent hike is expected in the course of the new year across cod from Norway, Iceland and Russia, they said.
