Brunei seafood producer and exporter Golden Corporation has unveiled plans to boost its output of organic blue shrimp and to expand its range of products by early next year, reported The Brunei Times.
The company has acquired 200 hectares of land at Kampong Penyatang, Tutong, to breed organic blue shrimps and it is expected to increase its annual production from 1,000 metric tons to 5,000 metric tons within two years.
Setting up the farm is in line with the company’s thrust to increase annual production and to meet increasing demand for its organic shrimps, said Richard Chuang Hsi Sha, managing director at Golden Corporation, said.
