Brunei's production of organic blue shrimp is set to hit 6,000 metric tons -- six times the current target capacity of 1,000 metric tons -- after Golden Corporation acquired 200 hectares of land in Penyatang, Tutong, last year.
In addition, the company is planning a future acquisition of an additional 200 hectares of land in Telamba in the same district, reported Borneo Bulletin.
