As for the Bristol Run, it's too soon to know about prices, but processors are optimistic despite the cold water temperatures that have delayed the start of the season until this week, Tom Sutherland, marketing director for Ocean Beauty Seafoods, told IntraFish.
"It’s too early to estimate prices very well, but there’s no doubt they’ll be up across the board. The season has just started, so there’s no way to gauge any change across time," he said Wednesday.
"The unusual thing is the extraordinarily low water temperatures that are delaying the runs by a few days.
