Owners of new Bristol Bay seafood processor Extreme Seafoods say their reality TV show about the Alaska sockeye salmon season is still in development, but crews are filming and the goal is still to produce a show along with its fish.
Austin Blackwell, who co-owns the processing facility in Naknek along with his relatives Slade and John Blackwell, told IntraFish the new plant is "operating well" but declined to comment on recent reports of one of its tenders losing 119,000 pounds of sockeye worth an estimated $440,000.
