An IPO is part of the company’s future plans, founder and CEO Attilio Leardini said.
Leardini declined to give IntraFish any more specific details. However, the company plans to invest in expanding its aquaculture business after acquiring mussel and oyster farming firm Cavalo Marinho last month.
This is a move away from its roots as a fishing, processing and distribution-lead business he said. “Leardini started its operations trading fresh seafood on the Brazilian market.
