The company, which reported sales of $250 million (€170 million) last year, has fishmeal and fish oil divisions, frozen, fresh and canned products and a growing omega-3 oil business.

The frozen and canned business currently accounts for $45 million (€31 million) of the company’s sales, but it says it can turn this into an increasingly more interesting niche business.

The rest of the company’s sales come from the fresh fish business, accounting for $10 million (€7 million), and omega-3 oil, which brings in $24 million (€16 million).
