Three seafood companies from the French port of Boulogne-sur-Mer are putting forward new products to compete for the Prix d’Elite at this year’s Brussels exhibition.

Herve Diers of smokery J.C. David is this year entering a salmon lunch box, one of a whole string of new products introduced since JC David outgrew its old buildings and moved to new premises two years ago.

“The lunchbox idea is that this is something you take to work. It’s a city product – a convenience product, but with quality,” Diers told IntraFish.
