Centre Partners, which first bought into what was then known as Norway Seafoods in 1999, sold its nearly 23 percent equity interest to Bodal, an American Seafoods management group, and Costal Villages, an Alaskan community development quota (CDQ) group, for $81.8 million (€69 million).

Under the terms, American management will own around 51 percent of the voting equity of the company. Coastal Villages increases its ownership to approximately 45 percent. Another CDQ group, Central Bering Sea Fishermen's Association, increased its ownership stake to just over 4 percent.
