Biological challenges in Chile remain, according to Norwegian salmon group Cermaq, who is present in the country with its farming division Mainstream.
The company showcased the latest developments at its quarterly results presentation this week.
According to CEO Jon Hindar all the figures concern Mainstream, but they are about the same for the rest of the industry.
The exception is the graph at bottom right which shows antibiotics usage. In this instance Mainstream is "considerably" below the level for the industry.
