U.K. shrimp supplier The Big Prawn Company has launched a new frozen range into Waitrose stores in the United Kingdom.
The products are vacuum packed into packs with see-through areas “so that the customer can see the product,” the company said.
“The vacuum pouch keeps the product from drying out and allow the product to be seen clearly.”
The range, 'Big & Juicy,' consists of Big & Juicy King Prawns, Big & Juicy Madagascan Tiger Prawns and Big & Juicy Clams.
The packs “can be defrosted overnight in the fridge or quickly by running under warm water,” BPC said.
